Dejanae Fagan

Manchester, Jamaica

Dejanae T. Fagan is a student at the University of the West Indies, Mona, where she is pursuing a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication. Guided by the personal philosophy, “The North Star of my craft—unmatched, unwavering, unmistakably me,” she is deeply passionate about her faith, media and communication, public relations, event hosting, fashion, the arts—including drama and literature—debating, and youth advocacy. Throughout her academic journey, she has committed herself to excelling in both her studies and extracurricular pursuits. Looking ahead, Dejanae aspires to become one of the Caribbean’s leading Integrated Marketing Communication specialists, as well as a prominent event host, youth advocate, and youth leader.

Mickeal Stanford

Hanover, Jamaica

Mickeal Stanford is a student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Apparel Design and Production Management at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Her educational journey began at Sandy Bay Primary School, where she graduated as the top girl. She then attended Mount Alvernia High School and successfully completed eight CXC subjects. Following high school, she matriculated to Montego Bay Community College, where she studied fashion and earned an Associate Degree in Fashion Designing. Mickeal is hardworking, generous, and charismatic. She enjoys sewing and dressing up and has always aspired to become a fashion designer. Her decision to further her studies at the University of Technology was driven by a desire to gain more exposure and knowledge in her field. After becoming fully qualified, she plans to gain experience working with various companies before launching her own brand, which will focus on clothing, bags, shoes, and perfume for women. Guided by her favorite Bible verse, “The Lord is within her, she will not fail,” Mickeal is determined to succeed.

Sanola Hinds

St.Mary, Jamaica

Sanola Hinds is a second-year nursing student at the Brown’s Town Community College School of Nursing. She enjoys singing, listening to music, and doing puzzles—activities that help calm her mind and bring her a sense of peace. Her journey through nursing school has come with both highs and lows, but she continues to manage her workload while embracing every step of the process. Now in the practical phase of her training, Sanola finds joy in learning new clinical skills and applying them in real-world settings. After completing her studies and becoming a Registered Nurse, she hopes to specialize in Pediatrics, driven by a passion for caring for children.

Crystal Hamilton

Old Harbour, St. Catherine 

Crystal is a first year student of The Mico University College where she is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree In English Language and Literature, Secondary Education. The decision that influenced her choice of studies stemmed from her love for all things English, drama and poetry, and her desire to contribute to the growth and development of Jamaica in a more Civil or Social scope. Aiding in the development of her nation's future through teaching is expected to be very rewarding for her. She anticipates the feeling of pride she will experience as an educator. After her first degree, she intends to immediately do her Masters in Special Education, with a Minor in Child Psychology or Guidance and Counselling, hopefully with the help of more scholarships, because she believes that it will help her to be a well-rounded educator; better equipped to meet the needs of her pupils and help them to maximize their full potential.

Ashley Webley

Cornpiece District, Clarendon

Ashley Webley is an ambitious student pursuing a bachelor of science degree in actuarial science at the University of Technology. She has a strong interest in problem-solving, engagements, and volunteering. Always eager to learn and grow, she balances academics with hands-on experience, whether through work experience or community service. With a mindset focused on resilience and innovation, she aims to make a meaningful impact in her field and beyond.

Kayla Bogle

St Thomas, Jamaica

Kayla Bogle is a first year student at The University of the West Indies studying Psychology. She loves learning new skills, reading, listening to music, watching movies and television. After school, she'd like to gain experience through international internships or volunteer work and pursue her masters.

Dr. Renardo A. Harvey

Kingston, Jamaica

Dr. Renardo A. Harvey is a dedicated medical professional from Kingston, Jamaica. From an early age, he felt a profound calling to serve others, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in medicine. Growing up in a community that valued resilience, faith, and hard work, he developed the principles that continue to guide him both personally and professionally. He completed his medical education at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus (UWI), where he committed himself to mastering the art and science of healing. In 2024, he proudly graduated from this esteemed institution, marking the beginning of his career in medicine. Dr. Harvey’s journey to becoming a physician was not without challenges, but his steadfast belief in the scripture Matthew 19:26—"But with God, everything is possible."—sustained him through every trial. He attributes his success to his faith, the unwavering support of his parents, who made numerous sacrifices throughout his academic journey, and organizations such as Opportunity Access Inc., which provided invaluable financial assistance. Today, as a practicing physician, Dr. Harvey remains committed to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to his patients. Each encounter reinforces his dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those he serves. His goal is to continue advancing in the medical field while uplifting his community and inspiring others to pursue their aspirations with confidence, perseverance, and faith.
